The Lily collection comprises four individual panels: 

The largest panel 60x60cm features 1cm squares and irregular blocks of hand cut felt pieces.

The three smaller panels 40x40cm feature 1.5cm squares and irregular blocks of hand cut felt pieces. Mounted within a simple light wood box frame.

Process:

Capturing the transitory beauty of flowers on camera I recreate the image in a mosaic design on computer. Matching the pixelated patterns of colour and texture I reproduce these to paint a 'canvas' using hand dyed felt.
